Whether it’s school or private life, I wasn’t really able to organize myself to write a new post. Inspiration wasn’t my friend either, so it all resulted in a huge gap between this and my last post, but that’s it, I’ll try my best to write more often, from now on.
I am college freshman now. It sounds so unbelievable, I still have a feeling that I’ll go to high school again, but that part of my life was officially over with my prom. My prom was on May 9th and let me tell you one important fact about prom – your dress, hair and/or makeup will never be the way you want it to be. I learned it hard way. Even though I thought that I’ll sew my prom dress, I accidentally tried one of the dresses in boutique and I fell in love. I was so happy with that dress. It was something I always imagined, but all euphoria faded week before the big day. I tried it one night for the second time and it didn’t fit the same and I had some kind of attack because I felt like it’s so ugly and not the same dress. Now I know that was because I was so nervous and overwhelmed with everything.
When the prom day arrived I had my makeup done first, and I was so satisfied with it. My face was breaking out at that time, I even went to dermatologist, but such a nice makeup artist Gaby did an amazing work with amazing atmosphere since the second I entered in her studio.
Later, I had appointment at my hairdresser. He curled my hair and added some braids. His inspiration was my dress and Greek goddesses.
Here are some photos of my prom:
After prom came less fun part – studying for college appliance. I wanted to study in another country so I had to pass tests in order to achieve that. I managed to pass them all and I am proud to say that I’m officially on college plus I’m moving out in another country, all on my own which excites me and scares me at the same time, but overall I’m happy.
So, I summed it up as possible, that’s it for now, I hope you’ll keep on reading. Thank you.
xoxo
